About
Beginning as an idea from George Bamford to offer a ‘service watch’ that clients could wear while their bespoke Bamford Watch Department watch was being serviced, the Bamford Mayfair grew into a product of its own. Diversifying the portfolio of the business by offering high quality design, precision engineering and customisation at an entry level price, the Mayfair has become a staple piece in many a watch collection.
Working closely with George and his in-house team, Auto Designworks was able to help explore, design and visualise the ideas while also working with suppliers to understand the parameters of the project for production. An initial 99 service watches were created for BWD clients to much acclaim, after which the product was carried through to mass production as the Bamford Mayfair.
