About
The Type 11 is a project that explores the boundaries of craftsmanship and conceptual design. Auto Fabrica has become renowned for their style and coach building. In this project, backed by Yamaha and teaming up with Auto Designworks, design and production capabilities are applied to the next level as we set out to create the most progressive and captivating motorcycles to date.
Destined to be a road going version of the first, Prototype Two used the structure, form and integrity of Prototype One and incorporates the necessary road requirements.
Working to strict guidelines for road regulations while maintaining the integrity of the highly conceptual design of Prototype One, the challenge for the team was to balance and refine the requisite road functions and ergonomics with the extreme form. The headlight became a character feature, highlighting and enhancing a classically inspired form language in this radical and progressive design.
Prototype Two began a new chapter in the story of Auto Fabrica. Being offered in a strictly limited number, these unique motorcycles are built to order and tailored to the exacting requirements and specifications of the client.
